Once the task is defined, I would make a time estimate. It can be agreed a fixed price, or after expenditure material and hours be settled.
My hourly rate is currently 25 € / hour.

Wall decoration in a renovated Kallmünzer house
The customer wished for her bathroom a decoration with flowers in old rose in her window reveals and lintel.
An example photo was given - but the window reveal was much wider than in the house of the customer (only about 30 cm).
During a walk the exact measurements were taken and details discussed.
Gabriela Rosas first made 2 proposals in watercolor on a scale of 1: 2 to present various proposals for the planned decoration.
The background of the window reveals was silicate paint - so gouache was chosen as the color for the decoration.
Oil painting 90x70 cm Peony bush after a picture original
Customers are a couple from Regensburg, who had long been looking for someone who could paint the picture for the living room wall. The original was a photo of a lilac bush, interspersed with poppies.
The size of the canvas was given 70x90 cm.
An appointment was made at which the customers came to the studio to look at the almost finished work. The customers asked for a change of the background (lighter colors than in the template), so that the picture fit better into their home.
At the beginning of December 2018, the oil painting was ready to be handed over to the customer in Regensburg.
Unfortunately, there is currently no photo of the finished work, so only one photo in half-finished condition

The customer is an entrepreneur from Schwandorf, who had the picture made for the entrance area of his company.
The client requested several flying hummingbirds in the format 40x60cm in matching color tones for the entrance area.
After the first sighting of the picture, the customer wanted additional flowers on the right edge, which was filled with the hibiscus flowers.
